Cabo Verde Express is a charter aviation company that operates
between the different islands of the Cape-Verde and between the
Cape-Verde and African continent.
Ferry
There is a weekly ferry that normally goes on
Thursdays. This can been booked by going to the harbour early in the
morning (4am) as it leaves at 6am. For more information you can call

A new fast ferry service is also running but at the moment not to Maio. Please check the website for details www.cvfastferry.com
Car Hire
Car hire is not usually needed on Maio
Bicycle Hire
Local cycle hire can be arranged there are 8 bicycles it's 1000 a day, 2500 for 3 days and 5000 for 1 week + a deposit of 5000 for each bicycle
